Strategist. Operator. Both, on purpose.
I build the strategy — then I stay to run it. That combination is rare, and it's the whole point of Wolszon Advisory. Most advisors hand you a deck and a handshake. I've sat in the operator's chair through hypergrowth — owned the numbers, built the trackers, and lived in the messy middle where strategy actually survives contact with reality. So when we work together, you get both the thinking and the hands to execute it.
I started as a biomedical engineer at UNC–Chapel Hill, a Morehead-Cain Scholar drawn to problems where rigor meets human impact. That took me to The Boston Consulting Group, where I designed growth strategies for leading global companies across healthcare and financial services, led post-merger integrations on complex deals — including a $5B+ PE-backed merger — built market and portfolio strategies in medtech, and developed and launched multiple new fintech businesses.
I also spent time at the edges of the field: leading an enterprise turnaround in global public health at the International Vaccine Institute in Seoul, which delivered its first projected surplus in the organization's history, and working in machine learning for biotech, building models to improve the predictability of biologics manufacturing scale-up.
I earned an MBA and an MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT as a Leaders for Global Operations Fellow — where I learned the fundamentals of modern AI from one of the field's pioneers, solving the core modeling techniques by hand before they were everywhere.
Then I went operator. As VP of Strategy and Business Operations at Podimetrics, a venture-backed digital-health company, I helped scale the business roughly 20x in five years — leading operating-model transformations, building our payor and health-plan launch playbooks, lifting patient activation and retention, and cutting cost-to-serve even as we grew. I owned the strategy and the execution, and I learned firsthand exactly how the two have to fit together.
I partner with founders, executives, and investors who need clarity and momentum — across business strategy and operations, healthcare, AI, and innovation. Sometimes that's a growth strategy or a new operating model. Sometimes it's standing up AI-enabled operations, integrating an acquisition, or finding product-market fit. Always, it's strategy built to actually ship.
I'm based in Denver, where I spend most of my free time in the mountains — climbing, skiing, and hiking. I'm also a third-degree black belt and teacher in Shaolin-Do, a violinist and fiddler, and a former EMT and technical rescuer. I taught English in South Korea on a Fulbright, and I get by in Spanish and Korean. As different as those look, they come from the same place: discipline, care, and a love of doing hard things well — the same things I bring to every client.
Tell me a little about your company and what you're working through. I read every inquiry personally and will get back to you within a couple of business days.
